Let’s continue with the best ways to lose weight, here’s another trick I employ that made a huge shift in my relationship with food is whatever type of food you put on your plate try to include something that you have to work hard to digest.


By that I don't mean food that’s likely to give you indigestion!
try something that requires more chewing up to 20 to 30 chews per mouthful!
Now this may feel like an extraordinary amount of chewing but it really does work.
This has two side effects in that with all this chewing it actually tells your brain that
your stomach is becoming full.


Also the fact you have chewed your food properly means that indigestion (something that has regularly effected me in recent years ...I must be getting old!) becomes a thing of the past.
This is truly one of the best ways to lose weight, it’s so simple it gets overlooked.


Try this; don’t be too obsessed with constantly weighing your self. Do it once a week, take your measurements from the beginning of your new regime and leave it at that, and again check these measurements Once a week.This was something I used to obsess about, constantly weighing my self,


If you can also find some time to add extra activity to your already busy life this will have a beneficial
Impact on those measurements. Just remember exercise is great for toning muscle tissue but has
far less impact on overall weight loss that reducing your food intake.


And this should be your primary focus in the early stages of forming the new you. You will find
It far easier to start an exercise programme once you have started to shed those excess pounds.

I'm going to share some of my own experiences with you, having had a life

long struggle maintaining a healthy weight. And now being in my forties I’m finally

reaching my goal to finding the solution to my woes.

Let’s be honest with ourselves for a minute, we all know if we consume more calories

than we burn we will gain weight..fact!


But with all the lovely different types of food we have these days how do we resist the temptation ?

What I have found is you can have that cream cake if only you learn a little bit

of portion control first !

The first thing I did was to swap my dinner plate for a side order plate , This had a big impact on me; it’s all too easy to pile food on your plate without giving it a second thought.

I found that after doing this for about week I realised just how much I had been overeating and I then could revert back to my dinner plate once again.
